Adult Life Group Leader
Life group leaders help facilitate men's, women's, or co-ed Bible Studies in various locations. All you need is a desire to see others grow in their faith!
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPECTATIONS:
Contact the church office or fill out the volunteer sign-up form if you would like to become a Life Group leader at NTCC.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Following Jesus for at least a year.
- Committed to integrity, character, and spiritual growth.
- Skills and abilities -
- Leadership, Shepherding, and/or facilitating – Strength in one of these three.
- Social Skills – have a track record of relating and connecting with others.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Prepare for and Lead the Meeting.
- Pray for your group meeting.
- Care for Group Members and their Families.
- Track personal problems and needs of group members.
- Communicate special needs to pastor.
- Visit members in the hospital.
- Provide a clean and comfortable environment for the group to meet.
- Could meet in a home (or rotate homes), coffee shop, or church building.
- Key Questions: Is the meeting place clean and picked up? Are there enough chairs for everyone? Are group members aware of pets in the home (allergies, etc.)?

- Make sure people feel loved, accepted, and welcome.
- Organize (or delegate) weekly refreshments.
- Complete Weekly Attendance Rosters
- Identify and invest in an apprentice (individual or couple) with the expectation to multiply the group within 6-18 months.
