A Gracious Heart
The sermon “A Gracious Heart” teaches that the heart of Jesus is full of grace—giving people blessings they do not deserve. Using the parable of the workers in the vineyard (Matthew 20:1–16), Jesus shows that God’s grace does not operate by human ideas of fairness. In the story, workers who labored all day receive the same pay as those who worked only one hour, illustrating that God freely gives His grace, not based on effort or merit.
The message explains the difference between mercy (God not giving us the punishment we deserve) and grace (God giving us blessings we do not deserve). Salvation is not earned through works but is a free gift through faith, made possible by Jesus’ sacrifice.
The sermon concludes by encouraging believers to appreciate God’s grace, receive it personally, and extend that same grace to others in their daily relationships.
