Death's Sting

“Death’s Sting” teaches that while death is unavoidable and painful, people often try to cope by either delaying it (through health and science) or denying it (seeking immortality). However, both approaches ultimately fail because death is certain.

The message of Easter offers a third and victorious response: through Jesus Christ’s resurrection, death has lost its power and “sting.” Believers are given hope, victory, and eternal life. The sermon challenges listeners to place their faith in Jesus, trust in the resurrection, and live with confidence that death is not the end.
