NTCC Volunteer Expectations

Mark 10:45

  • Pursue a Growing Relationship with God
    • Pursue Jesus outside of Sundays through prayer, reading Scripture, and spending time with other believers. Everything you do flows from your relationship with Jesus.
  • Be on Mission
    • Arrive promptly and ready to serve. Be focused on others and the task you’re responsible for.
  • Live with Integrity
    •  Your life should increasingly reflect Jesus.
  • Make it Better
    • Look for ways that you can actively improve the way you volunteer and serve. Look for ways you can help make the ministry better.
  • Bring a Positive Attitude
    • Smile often, build up others with positive words, and serve cheerfully.
  • Speak with Honor
    • Honor others through your speech. Never slander the ministry, a co-worker, or a leader with gossip. If you are not part of the problem or part of the solution, it is wrong for you to talk about or hear about.
  • Worship & Serve
    • On Sunday mornings, we expect no one to burn themselves out doing ministry. Worship during one service; serve during the other.

Please take note of NTCC policy for recruiting volunteers.  The following will need to be done before serving with Youth & Children.
  1. Read & Sign the Volunteer Expectation form.
  2. Must be a member, complete a background check, and be approved by the Elders if you are going to have a teaching role/ or volunteer with the youth or children.
    • Procedure to become a member:
      • Attend the STARTING POINT class.
      • Attend CONNECTIONS class.

HOSPITALITY TEAM

Hospitality Team volunteers make sure every person who comes through the doors of NTCC feels welcomed and cared for.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM

Love working with children? We have lots of volunteer options!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

OCC takes a lot of help in order to make it run smoothly.
When we have National Collection Week in November, we need volunteers who can be here to help unload cars that are dropping off shoeboxes.  (We are a regional drop-off location.)

JR/SR HIGH YOUTH TEAM

There are many opportunities to serve in our Middle School or High School areas.

MAINTENANCE TEAM

Maintenance volunteers will help to keep our facilities looking good, inside and out!  Use your gifts to assist with general maintenance, special projects, upkeep of our vans, and landscaping.

PRAISE TEAM

For musicians and vocalists that are willing to give of their talents. If you sing and/or play any instrument including drums, bass, piano, acoustic/electric guitar or other, volunteer for the praise team!
