Dear NTCC Family,
The “Leadership team” thanks you for your patience and support! We know this has been a difficult time for everyone. We have been praying earnestly about how, when, and what church activities to re-open and considering the recent spikes of COVID, we are excited to announce the following re-opening plan.
First, on Sunday, October 25th, the Adult Sunday School will begin:
•Joe Etherton’s and the GO-YE Class will meet at 9:00am during 1st service.
•Brian Longbon’s class will meet at 10:30am during 2nd service.
The reasons for the split adult Sunday school is to help with social distancing and in the balancing of our worship services at 9:00am and 10:30am. In addition, it gives us time to clean the classrooms between services.
Also, on Sunday Evening October 25th Junior/Senior High youth group will have a youth kickoff, at the church.
Second, Sunday, November 8th we will have our Annual Congregational meeting after each service. Then, after 2nd service we will celebrate a “Thanksmas” Dinner. Please RSVP by calling the church office before Tuesday, November 3rd.
Third, Sunday, November 15th we will re-open, our children’s ministry. During the 1st service we will provide an unstaffed nursery for parents of infants and toddlers with no Children’s Sunday school. We encourage you to worship as families. The staff will provide bags for kids for the first service. Second service we will provide a staffed nursey, wee worship, and Rise Ministries (Formerly Big House).
The decision for this is because of the continued construction of the children’s ministry area and lack of volunteers. Children’s Sunday school will resume sometime after the New Year.
Fourth, also on Sunday, November 15th, Junior/Senior High Sunday School will begin meeting during 1st service and Junior/Senior High youth group will begin meeting Sunday evenings.
Fifth, Sunday, December 6th The Café will re-open serving only beverages.
We are excited about re-opening! We ask you to continue practicing social distancing, wear masks, wash hands and if you feel sick please stay home and join us online at 10:30am.
In Revelation John writes, “After these things I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was opened….” Revelation 15:5
Remember as we re-open that the best is yet to come! See you October 25th!!!
