Building Each Other Up
Aug 30, 2026 • Paul Gearhardt
The sermon “Building Up Each Other” teaches that Christians will have different opinions and preferences, but unity is more important than being right. Based on Romans 14–15, we are called to value others, avoid causing them to stumble, limit our freedoms, stop forcing our opinions, and live by faith.
Following Jesus means choosing love, encouragement, humility, and unity over criticism and personal rights. When we build each other up and accept others as Christ accepted us, we glorify God and become a stronger witness to the world.
Main message: Be more loving than right—we are better together.
