Politics

This sermon argues that politics can become an idol when it becomes more important than God, shaping our identity, emotions, and relationships more than our faith. Using examples from Jesus' ministry and King Ahaz in the Old Testament, the pastor warns against placing hope in political leaders or parties instead of God. Christians are encouraged to engage in politics responsibly while remaining Spirit-led, limiting unhealthy media consumption, and treating others with gentleness, respect, and love. The central message is that a Christian’s ultimate hope is in Jesus Christ, not in any political party or candidate.
