Rahab

Rahab is presented as a “dark horse”—an unlikely person God used powerfully despite her background as a Gentile, prostitute, and liar. Her faith mattered more than her past: she believed in God’s reputation, authority, and promises when others were afraid.
Rahab’s story shows God does not count people out—He moved her from shame to honor and even placed her in the lineage of Jesus.
Main takeaway: God can use anyone who responds in faith, even those who feel inadequate, disqualified, or too far gone.
